A well-known, publicly traded consumer products company headquartered in the northern suburbs of Chicago is in search of Senior Analyst to lead the global consolidated financial reporting process for a major Strategic Business Unit on a monthly basis. The primary duties of the role will be to:
- Coordinate the monthly submission of financial results from the global operating units on a timely basis.
- Oversee junior accountants who have primary liaison relationships with Latin American European and Australian finance teams to ensure daily reporting and settlements are complete and accurate.
- Support the Global Strategic Business Unit Controller in preparing the international business unit financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP as applicable and in accordance with corporate reporting guidelines.
- Complete special projects that may include occasional international travel to Germany, Mexico and/or Australian operating unit locations.
